Citizen of the Month Nomination Form

The objective of the Citizen of the Quarter Program is to publicly recognize those citizens who contribute to the Hill County community, assist someone in need, have proven longevity and contribution to our county or its businesses or in any way improve the quality of life in greater Hill County. The award will be presented by Outlets at Hillsboro marketing manager Rebecca Galuppo and KHBR 1560's very own Roger Creech each quarter.

Guidelines for nominations and selection of the Citizen of the Quarter include:

• The nominee should live in Hill County.
• Nominees for Citizen of the Quarter need not be well-known people in the community. Nominations for all segments of the community are encouraged: Salt of the earth folks.
• Current elected officials are not eligible for nomination.
• Encourage nominees that have a reputation for commitment, honesty, integrity, and pride in our community.

Once a nominee is confirmed and selected by the committee, the winner will receive the following:

(1) One $50 Outlets at Hillsboro gift card

(1) One dinner Gift Certificate at a local Hill County restaurant ($50 max value) (Verona’s Italian Restaurant is our current sponsor)

(1) One free Outlets at Hillsboro Led billboard recognition graphic to be displayed around the 15th of the nominees winning quarter for one week. of the month

(1) Article write up and photo printed in The Reporter

Selection Committee Membership:

The Citizen of the Quarter will be chosen from among all nominations by a select committee consisting of one member of the Reporter, one member of KHBR 1560, and one Outlets at Hillsboro Management office member.

Directions for completing the nominating form:

Answer all questions below. A brief resume or comments may be included in the comments section at the end of the form. Nominations must be received by the 30th of the month of the preceding Quarter to be considered for the following Quarter’s selection process. Nominations will be kept on file for future consideration. When you are finished providing the information below, click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.
